Butte

The city of Butte, Montana is located in Silver Bow County. The city and county were merged in 1977. Together, they cover 718 square miles and are home to 34,494 people.

Polson

Polson is a city in the state of Montana. It is located on the southern shore of Flathead Lake and on the Flathead Indian Reservation. Its population is estimated to reach 5,148 at the 2020 census. It is the county seat of Lake County. It was named after a pioneer rancher, David Polson. It was incorporated in 1910.

Lewiston

Lewiston is the county seat of Fergus County, Montana. According to the 2020 census, the city had a population of 5,952. Located near the geographic center of the state, Lewiston is southeast of Great Falls and northwest of Billings.

Billings

The city of Billings, Montana has a diverse economy that is anchored by the oil and gas industries. As a result, it has a large service sector. The largest employer is the health care industry, which is responsible for creating many jobs and bringing in a lot of money to the area. The city is home to the tallest brick building in the world.

Bozeman

Bozeman, Montana is an urban oasis that has been deemed the “most livable city in the US.” Bozeman is situated near Yellowstone National Park and is a mecca for outdoor enthusiasts. Missoula

The city also has a Carousel for Missoula, a large carousel of handcrafted wooden ponies. Hiking trails in and around the city cross the rugged Mount Jumbo and Mount Sentinel. For those who want to spend more time outside the city, the northeastern Rattlesnake National Recreation Area has forests and peaks that are worth visiting.

Anaconda

Anaconda, Montana, is a city in southwestern Montana. It is the county seat of Deer Lodge County, and is governed by a consolidated city-county government. The city lies at the foot of the Anaconda Range and is approximately 8 mi south of the Continental Divide.
